Joyia is a name that has been making strides in the global music scene. Hailing from Toronto, the singer/songwriter/producer/DJ played her first show at Toronto’s legendary club, The Guvernment, in 2014. She now holds residencies at some of Toronto’s most prestigious venues, including w hotels worldwide, Soluna toronto, harriet’s toronto, Soho House, and Casa Madera. With a skillset that enables her to do everything from a live acoustic show, to a full hybrid vocal/DJ set - her performances are an experience truly like none other. her versatile skillset enables a unique set of performance styles, including:

In 2024, Joyia made her international debut at The BPM Festival in Costa Rica, and shared the stage with DJ/producer Pablo Fierro at his We’re Here residency in the legendary Club Chinois. Her work has garnered support from Black Coffee at Hï Ibiza, BLOND:ISH at Troxy London, as well as Joe Budden, Complex, and Spotify, with a billboard feature in Young Dundas Square. Her single Meu Amor held a top spot on one of Spotify’s largest R&B playlists, Chilled R&B, amassing over 1.5 million streams. Her music continues to break borders, with her most recent collaborations among music icons like Pablo Fierro, Nico De Andrea, and Maxi Meraki. Her original music has been played on the artist radio shows of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero, and Pete Tong, and has broken through charts with her records “Remember” and “Our Love” peaking at #4 on Beatport Deep House and #4 Afrohouse on Traxsource, respectively. With more collaborations underway and a slew of original music and remixes, Joyia is a quadruple threat force that is soon to be reckoned with.
